Lesson Structure

A normal lesson could include the following:

  • Warm up - includes basic exercise and stretches. This is a very important element to the lesson to help prevent injury.

  • Pad work - includes combinations of both punches and kicks to improve speed, power and technique.

  • Fighting Forms (1-7) - each forms increases with difficulty including combinations of techniques and moving in different directions.

  • Sparring - all sparring is controlled and tailored to the students needs. No contact for students without protective equipment.

  • Self defence techniques.

  • Cool down to include light exercises, stretches and breathing techniques.
